Protection
It's a short story I just made.Revolving none else than Ryushi,Hanon,and Luchia.Because it's a short story so it's short.Really short.
Short by me,anyway.
Well,that's it,I guess.Enjoy.Or not.
They reached school a few minutes later and progressed to the hall.As they each go to their separate ways-Ryu in 5-1 while Hanon and Luchia in 5-3-Ryu pressed a chaste kiss on his lover's cold,pale cheek and one on his daughter's forehead,giving them a 'work hard' charm.Hanon blushed scarlet at the gesture as they were standing in the middle of the hall while Luchia just grinned happily,receiving her second kiss to the forehead from her Papa this morning.Ryushi chuckled at their reaction as he watched their backs to him to their class.
Recess bell rang and Ryushi wordlessly stepped out of his classroom to pick up Hanon and Luchia.They walked together to their usual spot for lunch,a stone bench under a big oak tree providing them shades from the thicking snow.They ate while chatting happily,sometimes swapping food into each other's mouth.
A perfect scenery.
Recess was over and Ryu sends them both back to class before returning to his own.A habit he developed over the years with his 'family'.
When school ends,again Ryu wordlessly stepped out of his classroom to fetch his lover and daughter.Silently,he wondered if Luchia would make hotpot tonight.He stopped in his tracks a few meters from 5-3 class when he spots a strange guy talking to Hanon at the door with Luchia at her side.Hanon's face was neutral,but Luchia's seem to look agitated.Annoyed.
He assumed the guy was up to no good.
He saw Hanon shook her head and the guy stormed off in anger,Luchia's face visibly scowling now.He strided over to them and asked if everything is alright.Hanon smiled in relief when Ryu came and said the guy was trying to ask her out to a movie this Christmas but she declined,saying she already have a full schedule with her 'family'.Of course,meaning no one else other than Ryushi and Luchia.Luchia scowls and stated how she would love to kick the 'stupid douchebag's' ass for even trying to approach her Mama.Ryu laughed good-naturedly at his daughter's protective behaviour,knowing that it came from him while Hanon chuckled politely.
As they walked down the hall,Hanon in the middle between Ryu and Luchia,both her hands entertwined with one of their's,they stopped in their tracks when they heard Hanon's family name,Hosho,being called from behind.The three of them turned their heads lazily,wondering who the hell is trying to disturb them now.School was over and they had no intention of humoring anyone today.
Luchia's scowl returned with more intense in her beautiful features and Ryu's eyebrows frowned at the sight of the same guy who tried to ask Hanon out earlier.Hanon's face,however,remained neutral though a tired and a quite annoyed look was seeping into her delicate face.She tiredly ask what does he want with a sigh.The guy appears agitated,angry even,when he spots Hanon's small hand in Ryu's.He shouts his frustration of her declining his proposal.
The moment he opened his mouth,Ryu instinctively steps n front of Hanon simultaneously as Hanon takes a step into Ryu's warm and protective back.Luchia appears smug at her Papa's actions while at the same time inching closer to his side,ready to assist at any moment's notice.
Hanon doesn't answer,instead softly touching her warm hand from holding Ryu's earlier to his back,indicating a silent gesture that he may take it from here.She hates being involved in these troublesome things.Ryu smiles.
He answers the guy in somewhat normal tone,though there were such an incredibly dangerous aura beneath each layers of spoken words.Luchia grinned as she witnessed the shivers from the guy's body,visible through his coat and all,herself hearing the menacing threats her Papa laid in his so-called-normal tone.When he finished,the guy was silent so she takes this opportunity to make a statement.
"Fuck off,bullshit.Hanon's under OUR protection."
At the sound of Luchia's voice,he scrambled to his feet for dear life.It was a second before the three of them burst into mad laughters regarding how he fled as if he was chased by a very scary monster-which,he probably was.
Thus,they continued to their home and surprisingly,Luchia made hotpot that night.>3
