Dorobouuu~~!!!
Last Monday,on 15th July,our neighbours caught some thieves red-handed.Well,close to catching them but they got away.
Mom,Dad,Mukhlis,Mia and I were just coming home from Tarawih when we saw a crowd in front of our next-door neighbour's house.Apparently they seem to be trying to catch those thieves when they were about to break into the house.Tho they didn't get to steal anything 'cause the neighbours got home in time.
Dad went into our house first to check if it's safe to go in.When he gave us the okay,we went in.I was in the bathroom,taking 'wuduk' to pray 'hajat' when I heard a loud "DANG!" sound.I looked around,baffled.
Was it from the neighbour on the other side?
But there aren't any cars in their garage and the house was dark.I'm pretty sure no one's in.It sounded like someone was stomping their foot.
I shrugged it off,thinking that maybe I imagined it.Then,when I was washing my face,I heard it again.A loud "DANG!",the same one.
And I realized it came from above me.In the roof.
There's an opening to the roof in my bathroom,I glanced reactively upwards and peered into the dark,checking for any involuntary movements of a boy/man.I called a few times in case an answer came out.It's stupid,I know,but who knows?
He could've answered.My instincts aren't that great either.
I wasn't nervous or excited or anything,just curious.And wary.Probably tense,too.
I calmly walked outside and asked Mom whether do we have a fox living in the roof like the one in Cik Zu's.Mom asked why and when I told her about the sound,she grew alarmed and called Dad.
Dad took a ladder and went up.
It looks like it was empty and Dad came down empty-handed.
I was relieved.
I was afraid that if he's really up there,he'll go down when everyone's asleep and I sleep with my door closed(the bathroom's in the room) and that means trouble.
Big one.
I'm nothing if underprepared.
My self-defence knowledge consists only WWE skills and street fights experience.Won't do much against a man/boy bigger than me,much less in the dark.
Also,Mukhlis and Mia found a stray rabbit-it was gray and white- in the small garden in the front yard.We tried capturing it but it ran away-it was so fast.
I guessed it was either a wild rabbit-it didn't look comfortable with humans- or a lost pet rabbit.
It ran and went into Amin's yard.
We let it go and went home,tho I found it in the garden of our front yard again the next morning when I was going off to school.
